Representation on the Steering Committee includes up to three representatives from each state/territory, one of whom should be a clinician and one a relevant government representative. The third and optional state/territory representative may be a subject matter expert, appointed as preferred by the state/territory. Other members include a Commonwealth government nominee/s, a consumer representative, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples representative, and a cardiac surgeon.
